The Assessee is a retired school teacher who receives pension monthly.Morever, the Assessee also is a Post Office Agent who receives commission on which TDs is deducted U/S 194H of IT Act. Which form is applicable..??? ITR 2 OR ITR 4..??? PLease help me out Sir....

Also if you are not having any capital gain Income ITR -1 is applicable

06 May 2013 Sir. in itr 2, where would i show the income earned from pension(of a retired school teacher) and the commission earned from post office......???? does both the sources of income should be shown under the head"income from other sources"...??? Help me out in it sir...

06 May 2013 If the pension is received by him then should be charged under Salaries

& the Commission under other Sources

Note: It is chargeable under other source only if the pension is received by his Family

06 May 2013 ok sir..the pension is received by the assessee on a monthly basis and is received by the person himself only.. family does not receives it.. so the pension income should be shown under salaries in itr 2..??? is it correct sir...????
