Can we file itr for AY 17-18?

No until get notice from IT Deptt....or you apply for condonation delay...

IF WANT TO FILE THE ITR, YOU CAN APPROACH CIT FOR PERMISSION TO FILE ITR CITING THE REASON FOR NOT FILING, AS WELL AS REASON TO FILE THE ITR, E.G. REFUND. IF CIT PERMIT YOU CAN FILE THE ITR. APPLICATION FOR CONDONATION CAN BE FILED WITHIN 6 YEARS FROM THE END OF ASSESSMENT YEAR I.E 2023-24.
