Itr filling status

18 August 2012 I have filled my own return on 15.07.2012 and acknowledgement (ITR V) is send by speed post on 25.07.12.
But still now i have not received any mail confirmation from IT dept. regarding receipt of the same at Banglore or not showing receiving status in my Login of Income tax
Within how many days confirmation is send?
What i should do now?

18 August 2012 Normally within a week's time. But this time it is taking a longer time. It is whispered that the outsourced staff at CPC is raising their own pay packet demands.

whether to wait for some more days or month?

18 August 2012 Since you have sent it through SPEEDPOST, you can wait for an indefinite period of time. You have a valid POD (Proof of delivery) and hence no tension.
