21 November 2014 While e filing ITR 4 i get the following error message:The XML schema is invalid. Please upload the XML in the correct schema.At Line Number 16:The value Ver 1.0 of element ITRForm.Form ver doest not match the value(value constraint) value Ver1.1.

Can anyone please how to rectify this error? How to read such XML errors?

22 November 2014 Download the utility once again & then file the return. The utility you are using is outdated.

11 May 2021 the error message happens on account of old version of it return even i faced the similar problem while filing the return, we need to download the latest version of ITR from income tax website to avoid this problem. Thanks to the professional collegues who have replied in this query
