My wife has ₹7lakh deposit in SB A/C.She is a housewife.I am a tax payer. what is the implications of it on my tax payment & IT return?

No implications in ur books, since the amount had been deposited in ur wife's s/b account. If u had done that then U need to explain the source of that deposit.

As your wife is housewife, and only earner in family is yourself. So, the query if be raised, will get directed in towards you too.
