24 July 2013 Please tell me is it compulsary to file itr for salaried employee earning less than 500000 p.a.for a/y 2013-14????

24 July 2013 yes,recently CBDT has notified that all salaried assessee having salary income upto Rs.5,00,000 needs to file itr for ay 2013-14 onwards.

24 July 2013 if any person not senior earning upto Rs2,00,000 need not require to file itr.

24 July 2013 E-filing is compulsory only for Income above Rs 5 lacs. Below 5 lacs paper return can be filed.
