Itr-1 meaning of cash in hand in schedule "al"

Hi All,
Please advise whether meaning of cash in hand in Schedule "AL" in ITR-1, includes Bank Balance also. I checked with Income tax helpline no. but the person giving answers didn't seem to be confident. According to him, cash in hand doesn't include balance as per Saving Bank Account.

its mean cash in hand not the bank a/c balance.
