ITC On Salon service

This query is : Resolved

17 November 2025 Respect Sir/Madam,

As we know the gst rate of salon reduced to 5% without itc wef 22.09.2025. My query is my supplier issued rent invoices on July and August but filed gst return late. It's reflecting in my October month's GSTR2b can I claim that itc?

17 November 2025 The delay in filing by the supplier should not prevent you from claiming ITC, provided the following conditions are met:

The supplier files their GSTR-1, and the details of the invoices reflect in your GSTR-2B (which seems to be the case here).

You file your GSTR-3B and report the claim for ITC in the appropriate month (October in your case).
If the GST return for the month of July and August was filed late by the supplier, but the invoice appears in your GSTR-2B for October, it means the supplier has eventually complied, and the details are now available in your GSTR-2B for October. You can then claim the ITC based on the GSTR-2B for October, even though the invoices were from July and August.
