IT Return Compulsion.....

18 July 2011 Dear Sir,

I have the income of Rs 280000/- for the a.y 2011-12 out of which i have invested one lakh in LIC and 20000/- in infra bonds.i want to know that whether it is compulsory for me to fill IT return and what if a person having an income of 120000/- but he is invested one lakh in LIC and 20000/- in Infra bonds.

and ascertain whether your case fits into the conditions mentioned therein.

18 July 2011 It will depend upon which type of income you are having. In case you have only salary income and other source income less than 10000, then you need not file return. But if the case if different, then please clarify the situation, so as I can help you better.
