03 April 2014 Dear Sir/Ma'am,

Is it possible to file Online Income Tax return for AY 2011-12 today (i.e on or within 2 days from 03/04/2014) having only Salary Income?
(TDS was deducted & Tax payable is Zero)
Does it attract any penalty or late fees?
If Online is not possible then how to file manual return, whether should I meet Assessing Officer pleading to acknowledge?

I have received notice saying that Dept has noticed Income in that year but return was not found.

07 April 2014 Income tax return for asst year 11-12 can't be filed voluntarily either on line or off line since it is barred by time.

28 April 2014 In response to the notice issued by IT Department, you can file ITR at the designated officer.If the concerned IT departments as ASK ( Aayakar Sampark Kendra) you can file manually the return for Asst Year 2011-12
