Issue related to attestation work

13 September 2012 I am a Chartered Accountant.I had got my Membership No.from ICAI.Recently I have attested a copy of PAN Card of my friend and 1 unknown person copy of PAN Card which was brought by my friend.Is there any charges for this Attestation work?Is a Practicing CA charge for this attestation work?

13 September 2012 The professional Fees has always been a debatable issue. It has created many debacles as well. Normally the rule followed is the fees are in relation to the RISK involved with the WORK. You need to strike a balance between CHARITY versus COST. A notary normally charges INR 10 per page for TRUE COPY.
