09 June 2007 For Form No. 16 within one month from the close of F.Y. (i.e. 30th April)
For Form No. 16A within one month in which credit is given or amount paid.

09 June 2007 sorry in my view date is 07th june in case amount is credit at the end of the year & form no. 16a can be issued within 30 days from the end of financial year in case deductee request to issue consolidate certificate.

please confirm the date of issue of form no. 16 & 16 a extend in view of notification dated 25/03/07 & explanation dated 25/04/07 of notification dated 25/03/04

10 October 2007 Form 16A should be produced within 30 Days of payment. As for as Form 16 is concerned every quarter filing of eTDS the date certificate issue should be mentioned. Now a days from NSDL itself you can verify with your PA No and obtain the details howmuch TDS has been credited in your Account.
