23 March 2012 Whether it is mendatory to issue Form 16A by a Partnership firm quaterly through tin-nsdl facility.

We have already issued form 16A manually within the time limit.

24 March 2012 Now it is mandatory from FY 2011-12 to issue Form 16A (TDS Certificate) by generating them at tin-nsdl. If you had issued it, take it back & issue after generating from the site.

Whether there is any change in rules for applicablility for FY 2011-12

24 March 2012 Issue of TDS certificates downloaded from NSDL website is mandatory only for companies and banks.

It is NOT mandatory for other assessees.
