Whether it is mendatory to issue Form 16A by a Partnership firm quaterly through tin-nsdl facility.
We have already issued form 16A manually within the time limit.

Now it is mandatory from FY 2011-12 to issue Form 16A (TDS Certificate) by generating them at tin-nsdl. If you had issued it, take it back & issue after generating from the site.

But i have read that it is mandatory only for companies and Bank.

Issue of TDS certificates downloaded from NSDL website is mandatory only for companies and banks.
It is NOT mandatory for other assessees.
