29 June 2016 Is service tax charged by restaurants inclusive of service charge? Does that 40% of ST contains the percentage of service charge also?

In case of restaurants the bill generally differentiate between the bill amount, VAT, service tax and recover accordingly with customer.
If they are not showing seperately then may be you are eating food in Non-AC restaurant or then there is only option to take inclusive of tax, or may be they are not charging the service tax and depositing to the government.
