26 August 2009 Can we pay to goverment authorities more than 20,000 in cash

For example in firm of Tours and Travels they pay visa charges in cash which is more than 20,000

Can any one help me in this matter

26 August 2009 yes under rule 6dd there is exemption regarding payment to gov. in excess of Rs. 20000 other than account payee cheque.
