My dad was a Government employee,retired last year. He receives Rs 13,000/month as Pension .Is this amount taxable?

Above pensions is less than taxable limit. If total income including pension exceed taxable limit of Rs.300000/- for senior citizens above 60 years than tax applicable on total income.
