08 July 2009 if the work done amounts to manufacture , then there will be no service taxotherwise there will be service tax.

10 July 2009 absolutely right answer by Jitender....but finance act 2009 given a new amendment that...if even though it amounts to manfacture if not excisable now it is included in ST levy(if such process is comes under any service head notified)
