Dear Sir/Madam
we have recd purchase invoice,in that include
material value 1,00,000/- add Freight 8000/- and then Excise charged @ 5% on 1,08,000/-.
is it correct.
or excise charged on 1,00,000/-
Pls advice me

Excise duty will be charge on transaction value. You can't charge excise duty on freight.
