Is doing specialization in indirect tax good

31 July 2014 sir i have got a job in top ca firm in india as a article assistant in IDT department and they are telling me that i'll only do IDT work for the next three years of my articleship so sir i wanted to ask that should i take up this job and specialize in IDT or look elsewhere ....... and if yes is there any scope in future as a CA if i specialize in IDT .... it would be very thankful if u could help me.

07 August 2014 As per my understanding you should continue with present job in CA firm. Exposure and specialization in IDT is also good. Further I think based on your performance in given work you will get the opportunity to work in other field.

So keep doing present job and do not look for here and there as there is no exposure guarantee.
