21 August 2014 Hello sir, My IPCC Result is withheld today. The reason is that i am appearing this exam under direct entry scheme, as my 9 months of articleship not complete according to ICAI as my date of articleship starts on 13th August 2013.The Icai says that for appearing in ipcc exam, 9 months of articleship should be completed before exam date. In my case, my 9 months of articleship completes on 12th May 2014 but due to exam date postponed to 27th May 2014 i am eligible to appear in this attempt, Icai had also issued my admit card to appear in exam, i have appeared in exam and my result is WITHHELD. Sir, i am in pressure. what should i do right now, how to satisfy the ICAI.

22 August 2014 you cannot satisfy ICAI because you are wrong and ICAI is correct. What regulation says is that you need to complete 9 months on the first day of the month in which exams are held. So you were required to complete 9 months on 1 May 2015. please refer the guidance note issued at the time of filing the exam form.
