Is it compulsory to give title " TAX INVOICE" under GST or "INVOICE" is sufficient ? Secondly can an automobile workshop furnish a consolidated invoice for parts as well as labour under one single invoice or not ?

You have to give title TAX INVOICE only.
You can furnish a single invoice for both labour & parts.

It is no where mentioned that you have to give a specific title. The important thing is that it should contain all the details required in a tax invoice. Just by giving a title doesn't means it will become a tax invoice.

But tax invoice is prepared in triplicate where as supply invoice is prepared in duplicate, in stead of these, we can prepare a consolidated invoice and if yes how much copy ?

Two copies.
3rd copy for transporter if required. No need of 3rd copy if no transportation done by you.
