10 December 2009 A new company is going to start manufacturing of excisable goods. The company will avail ssi exemption. As the company does not have excise registration what should be the procedure of invoicing?

11 December 2009 Raise a commercial invoice till you reach the turnover of Rs.90 lakhs and then apply for registration. Practically if youhave invested a large amount of money on the capital equipment it makes sense to regsiter even though the exemption is to be claimed so that the credit on the capital goods can be availed in the books.
