21 January 2013 If we have received invoice in 20 th November 2012. But invoice date is 15 th oct 2012.At the time of accounting entry for vat, service tax and tds calculation and return, Which date i have enter this invoice?

21 January 2013 the basic document to book purchase is goods receipt note or delivery challan signed by stores dept. personnel. so the bill shall be booked on the date of receipt of material.
