If the introduction of GST regime would render the present Excise law, custom law, Service Tax , VAT , CST go redundant & obsolete .
Kindly provide a crystal clear picture of Tax scenario after induction of GST .

There will be one Central Indirect tax and One State indirect tax but the legislators are prposing for one indirect tax through out the country which states are not agreeing at the moment. You have to wait for some more months to get clear picture about this.

My query is also about, if under the GST regime the existing CEA , Customs Act, Service tax , Vat & CST would go zero or else ?
To be more precise ,if one has to prepare a new playing field from the scratch or the already read & practised concept of the "Taxes"as above -mentioned would be of any avail/advantage /benefit?
