hello every one..
i have a small query
my client received an intimation u/s 143(1) of A.Y 2012-13 , which has not considered a TDS Credit of a party but that is reflected in 26AS
so now what is required to be done..

check the reason in form 26AS. sometimes due to challan unmatch, it shows status of booking "U". umathced need to correct by the TDS deductor through TDS return

U will have to file a rectification request u/s 154 and then u shall get the claim of TDS....

These TDS credit mismatch cases can be rectified online under rectification request
1)login to https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/
2)Go to "My Account" under which go to "Rectification requst"
3)provided details of intimation as per 143(1)
4)can do rectification and you need to provide correct details of TDS as per FORM26AS
5)it will get processed after 15 days
