28 November 2011 Hello Sir/Madam,

I got intimation u/s 143(1) of income tax act for Asse. year 2010-11 of my father & in that mention that my father income is 151711 as i mention in return & so now what procedure i can do for this assessment.can i pay 100 for this assessment? so please tell me about this section for lack of information & now what procedure i do?

please me answer for same as much as fast.

28 November 2011 Dear Afjal,

YOu have not mentioned in the question what was your father's income in return filed by u for respective A.Y.

Further For A.Y. 2010-11 the basic exemption limit for Male below 65 year was Rs.1,60,000/-.
and your father's income was under the exemption limit hence it was not taxable under the Income Tax .

sir i filled my father returns itr-4 for assessment year 2010-11 & in that i mention total income rs. 163367 less deduction rs. 11656 so total income after deduction rs. 151711.

28 November 2011 Dear Afjal,

In short Your father's assessed income and income shown by u r same than there is no question of payment of Rs.100 and for what purpose u want to pay Rs.1oo.

I think there is no demand in intimation because as mentioned by u Income Tax department has also shown the same Income as filed by you.
