02 March 2013 Dear sir,
I have received demand notice u/S 143(1) on 15-01-2013 for A.Y. 2012-13.Income tax department not considered my TDS deducted ,because i write wrong TAN of deductor. what to do???????

02 March 2013 rectify your mistake in filing income tax return u/s 154..

02 March 2013 Dear Abhisek

Kindly check your Form 26 AS for your tax credit for the AY : 2012 - 13. If the tds not shown in the form 26 AS only the IT dept will not consider the TDS deducted. Therefore check your TDS credit in Form 26 AS and if it is not there then ask your deductor to file teh revised TDS return so only the TDS credit will be reflecting in your 26 AS. Then after it reflects file your rectification u/s 154 of the Income Tax Act,1961.

02 March 2013 SIR,
My 26 As is reflecting tax deducted....but What I did is I mentioned incorrect TAN number of deductor......
please guide

02 March 2013 Dear Abhisek

Then file rectification u/s 154 of the Income Tax Act,1961by mentioning all teh correct details of the TDS.
