20 June 2016 hello I have cleared group 1 of CA FINAL and have given group 2 exam in may 2016 and hoping for the positive results..hence as I am interested in investment banking and want to join organisation like duestche bank or HSBC such kind..but I have done my Articleship from a small firm where they had no such work ...and hence I would like to know do such organisation hire people who are CA but have done Articleship from small firms or do they hire only big 4 candidates?? and what type of questions are generally asked in technical round in case of investment banking organisation??

20 June 2016 they do hire people from small firms as well. You need to study the practical aspects of investment banking.....

20 June 2016 If you have flair to get into Finance especially into I-Bank, then you need to first design a CV that is more impressive and grabs the attention of the employer. A good CV is a passport for getting an interview call and later how well you perform in the interview would land you in the job. Self-belief in your ability and how well you carry yourself and impress the recruiter would be decisive, come out of the negative thinking that people from small CA firms will not be able to make it.

Think positive, think big and achieve big. All the very best.
