We are in karantaka,we are establishing Steel Plant. So We Purchased structural steel from interstate against C- form for Structural work. Is structural steel is elegable to issue C- form by us or Not. Pls advice us.

All kinds of structural steel are eligible to be purchased against 'C'form,provided,yours is a unit being setup in a special economic zone,and you should declare it before the LVO at the time of registration,stating that these structural steel goods are required for construction purpose.In other cases,buying of construction material from interstate dealers against ,C, form is wrong. Structural steel can be purchased for fabricating a plant, or parts of it,
to be used in the manufacturing process by issuing 'C' form.---
