How to start carrier in International Taxation after having 2 years of experience of audit which is not relevant for the field.I am interested in research of international taxation but dont have any experience. Please guide me, how to start career in this field. What is research opportunity for me as a fresher?

it not easy to shift career specially from audit to tax. However, its not impossible either.
First try and have a basic understand of the international taxation. gain same level of confidence at knowledge level. From Indian perspective, cover the transfer pricing provisions, read some case laws, cover some of the DTAA treaties specially mauritius, singapore, switzerland etc.
Then apply at some of the mid-size tax firms. You need to be persistent and demonstrate your interest as well as your ability during the interview process. Be prepared to join at entry level in disregard to your prior audit experience.
I, myself shifted from audit (at a small firm) to tax at EY (during internship) and was interviewed rigorously before being accepted.

Thank you so much. Do you have any idea about such mid size ca firm in mumbai? Please guide which reference book do you prefer? Presently I am reading from journal case laws, and guidance note on TP issued by icai.
