as we r working as a housing developers company in Bhopal, my query is,
we r planning for established a store deptt . in our site construction,
so how we can make a strong internal control system in store deptt?

19 February 2008 Dear vikash, for a better internal control on store department,purchase department should be centralised.before receing the material by the store department directly , it should be duly recorded in the security register and duly inspected by the user department regarding quality,specification and useability of the material. one store keeper should not be handled both the activities i.e. receipt and issue.Bin card / stack card should be introduced and issue strict instruction for updation after each transaction.Introduce for maintenance of store ledger ( if possible price store ledger ).
