can anybody guide me..how to do excise internal audit of footwear manufacturing industry..what documents o be checked and into which document which areas has to be looked after

Each company should conduct self audit of their excise operations for various purposes like ensure that all excise rules and procedures are being scrupulously followed to avoid any penal consequences to ensure that duty is not paid in excess and classification and valuation is correct. cenvat is claimed on all inputs and inputs are procured from such sources that cenvat credit on all inputs is available.
