01 March 2019 One of my Client who is 82 years old has not paid Advance Income Tax as per provisions of Section 207(2) of IT Act,1961 and filed Income Tax Return online. Now CPC has sent Intimation U/S143(1) demanding Interest Under Section 234B and 234C for non payment of Advance Income Tax. How to get it waived? Kindly advise.

01 March 2019 If the assessee has income from business/profession, CPC is correct. Otherwise,
file rectification return online.
