A & B purchased a house and paid interest 6 lacs. Is deduction of 2 lacs available to A & B both, totalling deduction available upto 4 lacs?

Yes each person can claim a deduction of 2 lacs.

yes if you have self occupied house then every person get deduction rs. 200000/- each .
