Interest on fd for amount received under motor vehicle claim

04 December 2014 Assessee father had met with an accident some 10 years back, court awarded equal compensation to assessee and his mother. Assessee being minor at that time court arranged for FD in some bank for assessee amount of cliam.

Now assessee being major have received the amount from bank. Bank deducted TDS for all the years.

Question is how to claim TDS refund now. As assessee is just 18 years old and just obtained PAN. No retun of minor is filed.

04 December 2014 but 26AS showing no tds as for earlier years tds was deducted at 20% due to non availability of PAN.

04 December 2014 But you will get the PHYSICAL certificate, form 16A from the concerned Bank.
And I dont think your case falls under COMPULSORY e filing. Is it?
You can file manually/physically.
