How we can sell intangible assets to others? What are all various incomes can be earned from intangible assets?

Generally we can't sell Intangible Assets. But at the time of takeover or merger of Company automatically all the liabilities and Assets of the old one transferred to the new one. So u can say it as sale of intangible assets (like goodwill). Generally the company earn from its goodwill(Repo/fame) only. We will purchase or take service of those enterprise only who have a good name in market.
