Keyman Insurance is a kind of insurance policy taken on key managerial personnel in an organisation. In the case of the partnership firms, even the managing partners are treated as keyman and the insurance premium paid for such partners is eligible as business expenditure.
Even key employees whose functions are vital for an organisation are covered under the meaning of " Keyman " for this purpose.
