As per pt. 6 othe instructions - If a person is filing return manually is he required to file ITR-5 also?
Whether the worksheets given under instructions hv to be attached while filing the return manually?

31 May 2011 The ITR-5 is not ITR five but it is ITR- V.
V is the English alphabet meaning 'Verification'. Now answer to your question. The person filing manually will have to file manually filled ITR V cum Acknowlegement which is available in the following link:

http://law.incometaxindia.gov.in/DITTaxmann/IncomeTaxRules/PDF/Ay2011-12/ITR-V-ACKNOWLEDGEMENT.pdf

Further worksheets given under instructions are working papers only and need not be filed either manually or electronically.
