Is a Director can inspect the minutes of Board Meetings after resignation from Directorship of the period in which he was Director?

As per my knowledge, the authority to inspect the minutes book of Board Meeting is only to director.
At the time of inspection he is director then they have authority but after resignation he has right to inspect or not, The Companies Act, 1956 is silent.
But as per interpretation of law, after resignation of director from company he/she end his/her all right which he/she had at the time of director.
