INPUT TAX CREDIT SET OFF - TWO DIFFERENT BUSINESS

This query is : Resolved

Quick Summary
If you have two fully taxable businesses operating under a single GST registration, you can generally use the Input Tax Credit (ITC) from one business to offset the outward liability of the other. This is because you file a single GST return, meaning your ITC is clubbed. However, some assessees are facing challenges with the department disallowing this. If you're in this situation, you may need to find supporting judgements or evidence to back your claim.
