Is VAT paid on Advertisement material i.e.(purchase of gift items, purchase of banners/flex etc.,) eligible for claming Input Credit?

No, Usually they are not as they have very small share as far as amount is concern.
But you can claim the same by cbooking a seperate entry for teh VAT charged on the bills.
