INPUT CREDIT FOR VEHICLES UNDER UAE VAT

Company purchased vehicle for employees to meet the official purposes. Can company claim the VAT credit of the said purchase. Is there any chance of disallowing the said credit by the FTA? if so, on what all grounds. What are the policies and measures we should implement to take this input credit?

Input is not allowed on motor vehicles; only input is allowed on commercial vehicles.
