can we claime input tax of Service tax on sub contract.

In case such sub contract is eligible input service as per CENVAT Credit Rules, 2004 Credit on taxes paid thereon can be availed.

thanks for reply sir ... as i newly joined to construction company as an accountant there they are not claiming input on ST...but they are paying full output what they have collected.

if eligible take the Credit and make a value addition for your company...
