Dear Sir
We Purchased Capital Goods from Mumbai based Manufacturer for our Chennai office
we Registred ST in Chennai Only.
in that case inputcenvat is eligible or not, IF eligible what are the documents required.

Cenvat of capital goods allowed.
though u must have to satisfy yourself that the capital goods u purchased are those mentioned in list given in Rule 2(a) of cenvat credit Rules, as only credit of such goods are allowed for credit.
documnets required is excise invoice.
doesn't matter purchased form chennai or mumbai.
