Redemption of debenture is subject to capital gain at the time of redemption. No Indexation is allowed in case of redemption of debentures.
In your, case nothing will taxable since it is redemed at par.

Hei Sandeep,I would suggest you to go fr CFA if you want international exposure!

First you should concentrate on CA. you can also join CFA along with pursuaing CA. NO doubt CFA is a very good course but after registering for CFA, it should not happen that you are not performing well in CA.
