Sir,
We are going to purchase heavy capital goods/machinery. For that supplier of machinery asked us for transit insurance policy.
Can any one can explain about this policy. What are the requirements, what are the details to be submitted to get this policy.
How to take a comprehensive insurance policy, to cover all suppliers and total cost of project?
Please explain in detail.

Transit insurance policy may be taken on annual basis for a certain value and nature of risk covered. All the Big general insurance firm provide this facailiy. Premium amount may also be negotiated.
