Wanted to know if Windows XP Agillis Software used in ATM machines is classified under EDP. The Mumbai customs authority have denied the dis-allowance claiming that above software does not qualify as Information Technology Software as it is being used in ATM machine which they claim that has not been classified under EDP. ATM has a PC which requires this software to run further banking software applications.
Kindly let me know your views in this regard.
