but sale will not be covered under this category. tailor made software will be covered means if particular software made on order then will be taxable under service tax otherwise will be treated as sale of software and will be taxable under vat

But one of the my friend buying one software and in that the company charged Service tax as well as VAT. So it is possible to Charge service tax as well as VAT on Computer Software.
