Hi, Kindly provide me information in detail regarding excise Duty, what it is actually ?what are the things on which it is charged?

excise duty is charged on all the manufacturing products, which are finished goods. there would be no excise dtuy on agricultural products (eg:- raw cotton, vegetables, seeds)
