30 December 2009 If an assessee acquired an asset before 01.04.1981(but not registered on the date of acquisition),after 01.04.1981 he/she get registered that asset.what is the indexation to adopted (denominator)for computing capital gain????

It should be 100 only for all those asset which purchased/owned on or before 1.04.1981.
